Objectives
- Present INPACE facilities to support EU-Korea partnerships for Horizon Europe in Cluster 4 (Digital, Industry, Space);
- Connect Korean organisations with European partners actively seeking collaborators for upcoming Cluster 4 calls;
- Help European organisations find relevant partners among Korean organisations;
- Guide participants on next steps (e.g., using INPACE’s support services, joining partner searches).

The Digital Partnership EU-Korea and the importance of research cooperation in that context
Jana introduced the strategic framework of the digital partnership, emphasising the EU’s interest in boosting technological competitiveness through international cooperation. She highlighted joint R&D areas including 6G, semiconductors, and quantum technologies. Korea’s recent association with Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe opens new channels for direct cooperation, allowing Korean entities to act as project coordinators and beneficiaries, which is crucial for inclusive, cross-continental collaboration.
